My bestest friend Adrianne had a party at her house, we got glitter nails, feather extensions, and bling hair. It was a ton of fun! We spent the whole time laughing and teasing. The guys played video games and other things for a very long time, props for entertaining yourselves men. We made delicious sugar cookies and homemade cream cheese frosting dyed with neon colors. Best food coloring ever!

a little rant about easter...

So i was watching tv and this commercial for Walgreen's comes on, it says, " there's only one night for the Easter bunny to get everything done" what? sense when is the Easter bunny Santa? He's not, and i think it's ridiculous that Easter has become another over the top holiday of gifting. Kids are spoiled. my mom told be their old Easter tradition in her family and i really liked it. They each got a can of pop and a bag of chips. That's a reasonable gift. I even had a guy come in the shop last week say he wanted to look around for an Easter gift for his wife. I felt like shaking him and saying "Fool! it's Easter! do you not hear yourself?!" I must be the only person who thinks people have ruined Easter! I do love to color eggs and eat the candy. So forgive me Easter Bunny for thinking you are over-rated!

New Funny Dancing Sundrop Commercial 2011

While watching ABDC last sunday this commercial came on! Best commercial ever. I want to be her for halloween. I'd dance like that all day. I asked Kelton if we got some of this soda if he'd dance like that while we drank it. it'd be fantasic.

4. Watched this for the first time in middle school with Kena and Nicole. We were a trio to be reckoned with! We absolutely loved this movie!

3. If only the leading man was more handsome! I always wished he was. Because it's such a good movie!

2. I think i watched this for the first time with my roommates at college. Just looking at this picture makes me want to watch it. it's fantastic.

1. my all-time ultimate favorite movie ever. we used to watch this EVERY time i came home from college. Stetsen and i would run to Kent's and we got this and the Swiss Family Robbinson. Which was fantasic because we would get them for 3 days.


I have many other fantastic old time movies i love; Tammy and the Bachelor, The Swiss Family Robbinson, Funny Face, The Thrill of it All, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, and a whole lot more... So i decided to pick 5 to highlight.

Flowers...

My dad got me this yellow rose on 2 saturdays ago (and i just took this picture this morning!) we were fabric shopping and my dad took Brinley with him to the flower shop next door and got us all gorgeous flowers.

and Darren brought me these home the other night for our anniversary! what is the green firework flower called? I love the bright fun colors! and i love that people love me enough to get me flowers!

Faith or Foolishness?

ever feel like you can't tell the difference? I do. Our rent at the new place is actually $90.00 more a month. And now i'm stuck. what to do? Go forward with faith that everything will be fine? Go ahead and do it only to end up a fool with too much rent and not enough money?

3 years already?

we are going to have been married for 3 years on the 4th. Time is just zipping past! Life is just awesome, we still have our issues but i feel like we can do anything and overcome things together. so just for fun i put a collection of a few pictures from our life together so far....
